Overview
ŞRF ASÜÇBEY operates pine resin tapping across state forests in four regions of Türkiye under OGM permit. Species harvested include Pinus brutia and Pinus nigra, yielding 50–100 tonnes of raw resin annually.

OGM Forest Rental Permit
ŞRF ASÜÇBEY was the first private company in Türkiye to operate under the model of renting state-owned forests from the Orman Genel Müdürlüğü (OGM) — the Turkish General Directorate of Forestry — for commercial pine resin extraction.
Under this model, forest land remains state property. Annual rental agreements are signed per forest block. Extraction is conducted under strict OGM oversight, with documented harvesting logs submitted to the authority. No permanent land ownership is claimed or required.
Permitted by Orman Genel Müdürlüğü (Turkish General Directorate of Forestry). All extraction areas are documented and renewable annually.
Extraction Process
Traditional tapping technique combined with modern logistics and documentation.

Forest Block Selection
Blocks are selected based on OGM tender allocation, tree density, and access routes. Priority is given to mature Pinus brutia and Pinus nigra stands.

V-Notch Tapping
Skilled workers apply V-notch cuts to bark, directing raw resin flow into collection receptacles. Cuts are spaced and managed to avoid tree damage.

Collection & Weighing
Raw resin is collected, weighed, and logged per tree. Weight records feed into OGM reporting and internal traceability documentation.

Transport to Distillation
Collected resin is transported to the Mersin/Çamlıyayla distillation plant for further processing under the RENATURAE brand.
Raw Resin Output
Raw resin extracted from OGM forests feeds directly into the RENATURAE distillation process.
